I have a problem to install Mp4box, in SSH console using and install ffmpeginstaller all process installation has been "Installation of gpac-full-0.4.5.tar.gz ....... Completed" but after restart service i check again i still not complete installation.

Feature request: Pre and Post script

Please make it possible to start a Pre and Post script (like in cPanel).
We have some tasks we like to do before a backup and after a backup.

i.e. we make for some users a backup to their backup server after the normal backup is finished, we do not want to run them by accident during the same time, in these cases a Post script would be wonderful.

When converting a video from .wmv to .flv, I get the following error: Application provided invalid, non monotonically increasing dts to muxer in stream 1: 133 >= 113 av_interleaved_write_frame(): Invalid argument

The fix requires the new version of libav as oulined here: http://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/ticket/222

Will there be an update to the installer with this new version?

Uninstall Script

Hello Everyone,
I used the latest ffmpeg installer script and all appears to have gone great. However we are seeing some issues with the red5 server that is currently installed on the same box. I would like to perform an uninstall of everything that was installed by the script to make sure it's not anything related to the Red5 issue. Is there an uninstall functionality included in this script? Any help would be much appreciated.

cPanginx version 5.3 is available for updates. This is a bug fixed version for cpanel 11.32 . The cPanel 11.32 have a big ownership change for public_html folders. The "nobody" group was removed from cpanel 11.32 . So cpanginix 5.3 include fix for this issues.

when i am installing ffmpeg specially Mplayer i got this error

Custom config inclusion

Today, another request.
Currently, when we want a custom config for a particular domain, we create a file in /etc/cpnginx/custom/

Personnaly, one of our customers wanted to override default cpnginx behaviour for mp3 files, changing the mime type to "application/octet-stream" instead of "audio/mpeg" and a custom header.

The vhosts.conf structure doesn't allow us to do that without writing in the vhosts because there already is a location matching for mp3:

Here is my suggestions:
Move the "include" directive before the first location. Then when a user will change his config (I hope with my other feature request), he will be able to match something he want before any other match.

Custom config field in customer's panel

Hi,

I'm using NGinx since few months.
It's a great server, well integrated to CPanel/WHM.

But there is 1 feature missing, which could be a great one: Custom config by customers !

This is an idea I have, you could make a CPanel (customer's panel) plugin, which make a user select a "domain/subdomain" he owns (spin box as usual), then a textarea representing his custom nginx configuration (with a link to nginx documentation).

Then, when "validated", the form will create/overwrite a file named "chosen-domain.com" in /etc/cpnginx/custom/
And everybody will be happy.

Me, as you customer, because I won't have to add by hand every modification a customer wants, and my customers because they will do it themselves

What do you think about that ?

nginx and cpanel 11.32.2

Form cpanel 11.32.2 , the group ownership of public_html folder changed from user:nobody to user.user . So this prevent reading the files in public_html by nginx And will result in 403 forbidden error . because currently there is no local user feature in nginx . Nginx always runs as a single user. Please a reply from cpanel staff.
