Topic: SSH key help?

Hi,

I've setup everything as stated in the installation guide and setup the SSH key at is says however it will not backup. Only the manual backup will work.

Any chance I could get a more detailed account of setting up the SSH keys?

Hello Adam,

Copy the public key from the file /etc/cpremote/id_rsa.pub  to the   .ssh/authorized_keys of your  backup  ssh account .  After that you can run the script  /scripts/cpremotebackup   to see if the backup is working or not.
make sure the following permission you need
# chmod 755 .ssh/
# chmod 644 .ssh/authorized_keys

Some  servers have wrong umask .
